What is ISOA?

The Illinois Sports Owners Association (ISOA) is the Triumph car club of Chicago and Northern Illinois, with membership coverage including parts of Southern Wisconsin, Northern Indiana, and eastern Iowa. All models of Triumphs are welcomed, with members owning cars ranging from a pre-war Super Seven, 2000 Saloon, 1800 and 2000 Roadster, through the last TR7s and TR8s produced in 1981. You don't have to own a Triumph to join, as several members own MGs(!) and other British cars. ISOA holds monthly meetings in the western Chicago suburbs, hosts driving events (autocrosses, rallyes, brunch tours, etc.) throughout the region, and publishes Snic-Braaapp, the monthly newsletter. Technical help is readily available, and several members have extensive stocks of Triumph parts. An annual Tune-up Clinic is held every April to help get the bugs out of your Triumph(s). So far, every car driven to a Tune-up Clinic has been able to leave under its own power!

If you'd like to join us, feel free to stop in at one of our (usually) monthly meetings. Unless otherwise announced in the events schedule, our meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month at Mack's Golden Pheasant, 668 North Avenue in Elmhurst, Illinois. Mack's Golden Pheasant is two buildings west of the southwest corner of Kingery Highway (IL 83) and North Avenue (IL 64). Meetings are supposed to start at 7:00 pm, but why not come early, have a beer and share some Triumph stories with your fellow enthusiasts?
