ISOA Caravan Info for VTR 2002

Several ISOA members will be driving in a "caravan" to the 2002 VTR National Convention in Red Wing, Minnesota. Currently, our plans have us leaving Bill and Sheri Pyle's home in Itasca at 9am on Monday, July 15. From there, we'll proceed to Ann and Tim Buja's home in Rockford at around 10am for a last potty break before the serious driving begins. We'll head west on US 20 to Lena, then take the Stagecoach Trail to Galena, IL for lunch and "light shopping".

We plan to leave Galena about 2:30 and drive north into Wisconsin, stopping for the night in Prairie Du Chien, WI. We plan to stay at the Super 8 motel (608-326-8777). Other motel choices might be Best Western (608-326-4777) and the American Motel & Suites (608-326-7878). In the evening, we might travel across the Mississippi River to the Isle Of Capri Casino in Marquette, IA for their buffet dinner and some light gaming.

Then, on Tuesday mid-morning, we plan to drive up the Wisconsin side of the river to about LaCrosse, crossing into MN for the balance of the trip to Red Wing, MN.
